What's new in this update:

  • Updated the Mastercam plugin to match the latest standalone build of HSMAdvisor v3.0.4
  • Improvements to logging and performance
    logs are now written into the logs directory
    Reduced flickering
  • Improvements to the End Mill DOC/WOC suggestions based on the number of flutes and material type
  • Warnings displayed for unusual number of flutes for milling tool types
  • Imporvements to Thread Mill:
    Tool Drawing now shows the actual teeth profile to help visually estimate the tool engagement.

Installation

HSMAdvisor setup requires administrative privileges to install into Program Files.

Although it is not required, we recommend you to install standalone HSMAdvisor prior to installing the hook: this will make sure you have default tool libraries, machines, and languages.
